QUIMA PARTICIPATION IN THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE GEORGE PROJECT

The annual project meeting has been celebrated from October 10th to 12th, 2023, in Villefranche-sur-Mer, France. This three-day event will encompass presentations, plenary sessions, cross-work-package dialogues, group discussions, and tours of the facilities earmarked for the upcoming training sessions.

Our colleagues from the QUIMA group (IOCAG, ULPGC), J. Magdalena Santana-Casiano and Melchor González-Dávila, have contributed to WP2 and have taken responsibility for Task 2.4. Additionally, the Canarian company OCEOMIC is actively involved in this project and event.

More information about GEORGE project can be found here. GEORGE is a Horizon Europe-funded project that develops novel technologies to improve ocean observations. The technologies developed will represent the next level in systematic long-term autonomous ocean observations.
